Sports Societies

King's College Boat Club, the friendliest Boat Club on the Cam, is also the oldest society at King's, having been in operation since 1838. As the quintessential Cambridge sport, we enjoy a great popularity in the student body and most people give rowing or coxing a try while at King's! From complete novices to experienced rowers, we welcome anyone to join, and members regularly make the Blue Boat for the Boat Race. With a busy social termcard, we also provide a great environment to meet new people and create long-lasting friendships.

Clare and King's Squash Club plays squash in the King's college squash courts and is open to all abilities. We train weekly and participate in weekly league matches with other college teams. The big event of the year is the cuppers team knockout competition in Lent! There is no fee for joining and equipment is available to use!

We are a very fun and relaxed society for all those interested in golf or keen to learn or try golf out.

We are a society for people passionate about cricket accommodating people from all ranges such as those who have never played before and those who fancy themselves as the next Jos Buttler.

The King's College Netball Club is a friendly and welcoming group of people who train and play netball matches weekly with occasional social events.

The tennis society is a friendly, inclusive club that brings together players of all abilities to enjoy the sport in both social and competitive settings. We offer weekly practice sessions, fun events such as a Christmas party and Jack's socials, and the opportunity to represent the college in the Cuppers tournament. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned player, the society provides a relaxed way to stay active, make friends, and be part of the wider college community.

KCPS KCPS provide any King's members the ability to play padel, whether that is through connecting them with other members or court booking.

A Hockey club joined with Sidney Sussex, King's and Homerton. We play weekly league matches and attend an inter college competition called Cuppers.

For all climbers at King's, mostly running indoor bouldering meets at Cambridge's gyms throughout term. Welcoming to all abilities, including people who have never climbed before.

King's College Badminton Society is a friendly sporting society who meet weekly on a Saturday evening to play social badminton. We also run a team in the mixed college league which leapt up two division last year. The perfect society to have fun whilst being active and improving your sporting skills.

KCKC provides kayaks and canoes for use by members of King's College Cambridge on the river Cam.

Welcome to Jesus x King's x Sidney Sussex Ultimate frisbee! We are a friendly, welcoming team that aim to have fun and teach people ultimate. It's a much more exciting game than it sounds – imagine netball and American football combined but played with a frisbee instead of a ball. We compete in the college league, and we encourage people of all abilities to come to games or trainings (or both!) and have fun! It's a great way to meet people from other colleges!
